The Minister of Energy of Ukraine, German Galushchenko, held a meeting with a French delegation headed by the Special Envoy of the President of France for Ukraine's Relief and Reconstruction Pierre Heilbronn.

German Galushchenko informed the representatives of the French side about Ukraine’s successful passage through the most difficult winter, despite regular enemy attacks on energy facilities.

The Minister of Energy of Ukraine, German Galushchenko, held a meeting with the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Moldova, Dorin Junghietu.

Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko held a bilateral meeting with EU Commissioner for Energy and Housing Dan Jørgensen in Brussels on the sidelines of the meeting of the Council of Energy Ministers of the European Union member states.

As part of the meeting of the Council of Energy Ministers of the EU member states held in Brussels, the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, German Galushchenko, held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Climate and Energy of the Kingdom of Denmark, Lars Aagaard.

The parties discussed the deepening of cooperation within the framework of the Ukrainian-Danish Energy Partnership, particularly regarding support for the energy sector and the restoration of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, which has suffered destruction and damage due to ongoing targeted Russian attacks.

The Minister of Energy of Ukraine, German Galushchenko, held a bilateral meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Energy, Business, and Industry of Sweden, Ebba Busch.

"We have already endured our third wartime winter. We thank Sweden for its continuous support of Ukraine’s energy sector from the very first days of the full-scale invasion. This support plays a significant role both in restoring our infrastructure and in the further development of the energy sector in Ukraine and throughout Europe," said German Galushchenko.

The Government of Canada has contributed an additional 33.4 million euros (50 million Canadian dollars) to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund. As a result, the country’s total contribution to the Fund has increased to 40.1 million euros (60 million Canadian dollars). Canada has also pledged a future contribution of 6.7 million euros (10 million Canadian dollars).

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine with representatives of partner countries’ Embassies to discuss international assistance for protecting critical energy infrastructure facilities. The event was attended by First Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Yurii Sheiko, Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk, Attachés of diplomatic missions in Ukraine, representatives of energy companies, electricity transmission system and gas transmission system operators of Ukraine, as well as the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Government of the United Kingdom, in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, continues to implement the Innovate Ukraine initiative aimed at developing and restoring Ukraine’s energy sector by introducing modern technologies and innovative solutions in energy.

At the meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in March, 47 member states of the Agency issued a joint statement on nuclear safety, security, and safeguards in Ukraine.

In their statement, IAEA member states reaffirmed their support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and condemned russia’s illegal seizure of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, as well as attacks on Ukraine’s nuclear infrastructure.

Ukraine has always emphasized and continues to emphasize that nuclear facilities should never become targets of military operations. Therefore, Ukraine calls on the international community to take urgent measures to prevent further escalations that could lead to irreversible nuclear consequences.
