Applications are currently being accepted for the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Award for a Significant Contribution to Ensuring Ukraine’s Energy Resilience.

Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Valentyna Moskalenko made this statement during an off-site seminar organized by the Ministry of Energy and the International Labour Organization on occupational safety at electric power enterprises.

- As a result of hostilities and attacks on energy infrastructure, some consumers in the Donetsk, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions remain without electricity as of this morning. Restoration works are underway wherever security conditions allow.

At the initiative of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, the Government has improved the mechanism for distributing funds of heat supply and heat generation enterprises.

With the support of international partners, a new 2 MW solar power plant has been commissioned at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant (ChNPP).

Energy equipment provided with the support of Germany has been delivered from the warehouses of the Ministry of Energy’s hubs to critical infrastructure enterprises in the Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions and the city of Kyiv.
