The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the transfer of 27 power transformers to communities in the Mykolaiv region to strengthen the region's energy resilience, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced.

- As a result of ongoing hostilities and attacks on energy infrastructure, some consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions remain temporarily without electricity.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal held a meeting with members of Ukraine's diplomatic corps to coordinate engagement with international partners aimed at strengthening the country's energy resilience ahead of the winter season.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has completed its eighth monitoring mission to key NPC Ukrenergo substations that supply electricity for the internal needs of Ukraine's nuclear power plants and transmit the electricity they generate to the Integrated Power System of Ukraine.

Throughout July, Ukrainian power engineers restored electricity supply to nearly 5 million consumers who had been left without power as a result of Russian attacks and ongoing hostilities.

This month, more than 12 tonnes of humanitarian assistance provided by Sweden were delivered from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine's emergency energy assistance hubs to the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The shipment will help strengthen the protection of the region's energy infrastructure.
