Energy Resilience of Regions: Capacity for New Generation Construction Expanded to More Than 1.5 GW and Competition Commission Established
The Government has amended the conditions for the second stage of the competitive tender for the construction of new generation capacity in Ukraine. In particular, it increased the total capacity to be offered through the tender from 1,322 MW to 1,505 MW.

Strengthening the Energy Independence of Hospitals under the Ray of Hope Project: 17 Healthcare Facilities Have Started Generating Their Own Electricity Since the Beginning of the Year
From January to mid-June 2026, 17 healthcare facilities launched their own electricity generation under the Ray of Hope project. The total installed capacity of commissioned solar power plants amounts to 1,650 kW.

Norway to Provide NOK 100 Million for the Restoration of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant
Norway has announced an additional contribution of NOK 100 million (approximately USD 10 million) to support the restoration of the New Safe Confinement at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant, which was damaged as a result of a Russian drone attack.
