- As a result of hostilities and attacks on energy infrastructure, some consumers in the Donetsk, Odesa, Kyiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions remain without electricity as of this morning.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal met with representatives of the IMF mission, headed by Gavin Gray, who are visiting Kyiv.

The parties discussed the situation in the energy sector and Ukraine’s needs in strengthening its energy resilience.

Thanks to contributions from international partners to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, a number of Ukrainian regions received essential equipment worth nearly €1.8 million to support the restoration and strengthening of energy infrastructure.

- As a result of hostilities and attacks on energy infrastructure, some consumers in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions are temporarily without electricity. Restoration works are underway wherever security conditions allow.

On the occasion of Miners’ Day, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal, together with Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi, honoured miners for their work and contribution to the country’s energy resilience.

We remember all those who gave their lives for Ukraine. We honour the memory of Ukraine’s defenders with gratitude for their sacrifice, which has enabled Ukraine to remain independent and have a free future.
