First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal held a meeting with U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright in New York.

- As a result of hostilities and attacks on energy infrastructure, some consumers in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions remain without electricity as of this morning. Restoration works are underway wherever security conditions allow.

From the warehouses of the Ministry of Energy’s hubs, 97 tonnes of energy equipment from the Netherlands were delivered to the Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

- As a result of hostilities and attacks on energy infrastructure, some consumers in the Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy and Chernihiv regions remain without electricity as of this morning. Restoration works are underway wherever security conditions allow.

Thanks to contributions from international partners to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, a number of Ukrainian regions received equipment worth nearly €4.9 million needed to restore and strengthen energy infrastructure.

From January through the first half of September 2026, 53 healthcare facilities started generating their own electricity as part of the “Ray of Hope” project. The total installed capacity of the commissioned solar power plants amounts to 3,800 kW.
