Tariffs and Prices

Due to the strikes on Ukraine’s energy facilities by the Russian Federation, our infrastructure has suffered and continues to suffer significant damage. To ensure the restoration of the energy system and maintain electricity supply in households, electricity tariffs have been adjusted.

By resolution No. 632 of May 31, 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine set a single fixed electricity price of UAH 4.32/kWh for all residents of Ukraine, regardless of consumption volume.

This preferential tariff is valid until April 30, 2025, and applies to:

  • Residents of apartment buildings and private houses,
  • Dormitories,
  • Gardening associations,
  • Summer and garage cooperatives.

Additionally, during the heating season (October 1, 2024 – April 30, 2025), a preferential tariff is applied for consumers using electric heating installations:

  • For consumption up to 2,000 kWh – UAH 2.64/kWh for the entire volume;
  • For consumption above 2,000 kWh – UAH 4.32/kWh for the entire volume.

A night tariff (for households with a dual-zone meter) will be UAH 2.16/kWh, allowing dual-zone meter owners to continue paying half the price for electricity consumed from 23:00 to 07:00.

According to subparagraph 12 of clause 5.3.2 of the Retail Electricity Market Rules, the above tariffs will apply to settlements based on actual electricity consumption starting from June 2024.

It should be noted that the previously applied tariff of UAH 2.64/kWh covered only one-third of the actual cost of electricity. The tariff increase is necessary to restore the energy system damaged by enemy attacks and to prepare it for the upcoming heating season.

At the same time, the housing subsidy program continues to operate. Due to the tariff increase, the amount of housing subsidies and benefits for utilities for all eligible households will be recalculated. The Pension Fund will perform this recalculation automatically, and no additional applications are required.
