The enemy attacked energy infrastructure facilities in the Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Russia launched over 450 attack drones and 45 missiles of various types across Ukraine, targeting critical infrastructure facilities.

Power outages have been recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, and Kirovohrad regions.

As a result of the strikes, emergency power outages (EPOs) have been applied in several regions. In some areas, hourly power outage schedules (HPOs) remain in effect for up to two rotation groups, as well as power limitation schedules for industrial consumers.

Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Grynchuk reported that the situation remains particularly difficult in the Kharkiv, Sumy, and Poltava regions.

According to her, inspections of damaged energy facilities and assessments of the destruction are ongoing. Hits on gas infrastructure facilities have also been recorded — production equipment has been damaged, and one employee was injured and is receiving medical care.

“Rescue workers, energy specialists, and gas company teams promptly began eliminating the consequences of the attack. Restoration works continue around the clock, and specialists are working to stabilize the situation,” said Svitlana Grynchuk.

All emergency and repair services are operating on site. The Ministry of Energy coordinates recovery efforts jointly with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, regional military administrations, and local authorities.
