Australia will allocate another €6 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, bringing its total contribution to over €18 million.

This was announced by the country's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Penny Wong, during her visit to Kyiv.

At a meeting with Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Energy, Roman Andarak, Penny Wong assured that Australia will continue to support Ukraine and its energy sector. She also condemned russian attacks on energy infrastructure, emphasizing the importance of countering such actions.

The resolution emphasizes the inadmissibility of attacks on electrical substations that ensure the external power supply to Ukrainian nuclear power plants. These attacks are recognized as a direct threat to nuclear safety.
