On 11 November, an emergency occurred at the Inhulska mine of the State Enterprise Eastern Mining and Processing Plant (SE SkhidGZK). A hydraulic backfill mixture broke through into an underground working of a depleted block, resulting in the flooding of the mine level.

At the time of the incident, four employees of Svitex LLC were present in the affected section. Two workers were able to exit the danger zone on their own. As of 14:00 on 12 November, the whereabouts of the remaining two workers are still unknown.

The Government has fully completed all planned activities to ensure a stable passage through the 2025–2026 autumn-winter period. Fuel and lubricant reserves have been accumulated in the required volumes, emergency repair works have been carried out, and necessary equipment reserves have been secured.

The situation in Ukraine’s power system remains challenging following Russia’s latest large-scale attack, Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Mykola Kolisnyk reported during the national telethon “United News.”

Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Roman Andarak participated in a special meeting of G7+ leaders on energy support for Ukraine.

He briefed partners on the challenging situation in Ukraine’s energy sector, which has arisen as a result of combined, targeted Russian attacks on critical infrastructure facilities.

“With the start of the heating season, the enemy has intensified its strikes,” noted the Deputy Minister.

Ukraine’s power system remains under significant strain following the massive Russian attack on the night of 8 November, which became one of the most severe strikes on the energy sector since the beginning of the full-scale war.

This was reported by First Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Artem Nekrasov during a live broadcast of the national telethon “United News.”

On behalf of Minister of Energy Svitlana Grynchuk, Deputy Minister Mykola Kolisnyk is coordinating restoration efforts in the Poltava region together with Deputy Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Kostiantyn Kovalchuk, Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Volodymyr Kohut, and other relevant services.

“Active repair works at energy facilities in Poltava region are underway,” noted Mykola Kolisnyk.

Following the instructions of Ukraine’s Minister of Energy Svitlana Grynchuk, First Deputy Minister Artem Nekrasov together with representatives of energy companies visited one of the energy facilities in the Kyiv region that was damaged as a result of the latest massive Russian attack.

During the visit, they inspected the damaged equipment and discussed the progress of emergency restoration works.

Ukraine’s Minister of Energy Svitlana Grynchuk spoke on the national telethon United News about the current state of the energy system following another massive Russian strike.

According to her, Ukraine’s energy infrastructure became the target of a large-scale ballistic missile attack.

Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Grynchuk, together with Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov, inspected energy facilities in the Kharkiv region that were damaged as a result of Russian shelling.

Under the co-chairmanship of Svitlana Grynchuk and Oleh Syniehubov, a coordination meeting of the regional headquarters for emergency response was held with the participation of heads of the National Police, State Emergency Service, Security Service of Ukraine, the Prosecutor’s Office, Kharkivoblenergo, and representatives of local communities.

Energy workers are operating around the clock to stabilize the power system following the large-scale attack. Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Mykola Kolisnyk reported on the situation during a live broadcast of the national telethon United News.
