Briefing of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine Serhiy Suyarko on the Situation in the Energy System as of the Morning of 7 January
- As of the morning of 7 January, the situation in Ukraine’s energy system remains challenging due to ongoing Russian strikes, but it is under control. Last night, the enemy attacked energy infrastructure facilities in Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in power outages as of this morning. Emergency restoration works are ongoing.
- Following restoration efforts, electricity supply has been fully restored in the city of Slavutych, which had been affected by an attack the previous day. The city now has power again.
