Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Roman Andarak took part in the latest meeting of the G7+ Energy Coordination Group, where the urgent needs for continued support of Ukraine’s energy sector were discussed.

The online meeting, chaired by Canada within the G7 framework, was attended by representatives of the European Commission, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States, Poland, the Netherlands, Estonia, and other countries and partners, as well as international financial institutions.

During a working visit to Warsaw, German Galushchenko discussed issues of bilateral cooperation with Norwegian Minister of Energy Terje Aasland, in particular in the gas sector, as well as Norway’s participation in the modernization and reconstruction of Ukraine’s energy sector.

On the sidelines of the EU Energy Ministers’ meeting in Warsaw, Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko held a bilateral meeting with Minister of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania Žygimantas Vaičiūnas.

The parties discussed the current situation in Ukraine’s energy sector and the needs of the industry in the context of the ongoing russian attacks on energy infrastructure facilities.

On the sidelines of the EU Energy Ministers’ meeting in Warsaw, Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko held a bilateral meeting with Marc Ferracci, Minister of Industry and Energy of the French Republic.

The parties discussed avenues of cooperation aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s energy resilience and enhancing energy security.

Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko held a bilateral meeting with Iceland’s Minister for Environment, Energy and Climate, Jóhann Páll Jóhannsson. The meeting took place in Warsaw during the meeting of EU energy ministers dedicated to the restoration of Ukraine’s energy system and the European integration of Ukraine and the EU.

Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko held a bilateral meeting with EU Commissioner for Energy and Housing Dan Jørgensen. The parties had an encounter in Warsaw during the EU Energy Ministers' meeting dedicated to the reconstruction of Ukraine’s energy system and the European integration of Ukraine and the EU.

Special attention during the meeting was given to issues of energy security and the phase-out of russian energy resources.

As part of the meeting of EU energy ministers in Warsaw, Ukraine’s Minister of Energy, German Galushchenko, took part in the working session "Rebuilding Ukraine’s Energy Infrastructure and Preparing for Winter in Ukraine and Moldova."

The Minister informed the participants about the devastating consequences of ongoing russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy sector, as well as the key directions for restoring facilities and maintaining energy stability and security.

The Ukraine Energy Support Fund was established in April 2022 as a joint initiative of the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, German Galushchenko, and the European Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson. Over the course of its operation, it has become an effective tool for providing international assistance in the energy sector.

Deepening cooperation between Ukraine and the United States of America in the field of energy is an important area of bilateral relations, which will also contribute to strengthening the energy security of the European continent.

This was emphasized by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko during a discussion on the role of the United States in the Ukrainian energy sector, organized by the Atlantic Council.

The Minister of Energy of Ukraine, German Galushchenko, held a meeting with a French delegation headed by the Special Envoy of the President of France for Ukraine's Relief and Reconstruction Pierre Heilbronn.

German Galushchenko informed the representatives of the French side about Ukraine’s successful passage through the most difficult winter, despite regular enemy attacks on energy facilities.
