The Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Svitlana Grynchuk, together with First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Serhii Kyslytsia, held a special briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for foreign diplomatic representatives in Ukraine and Ukrainian diplomats abroad. The briefing focused on the current situation in Ukraine’s energy system and its urgent needs.
As winter approaches, Russia is intensifying its strikes, primarily targeting frontline regions.
“Over the past three and a half years, we have learned to respond quickly to challenges thanks to the support of our partners and the work of Ukrainian energy professionals. We now have clear, well-tested plans and action algorithms for any scenario. To withstand this winter, continued and enhanced support is crucial. Therefore, I called on diplomatic representatives to step up communication in their countries to jointly identify additional opportunities for Ukraine,” Minister Grynchuk wrote on her Facebook page.
The Minister also expressed gratitude to Ukraine’s partners for the assistance already provided, which allows the country to resist the enemy and keep Ukrainian homes powered and warm.
