- Overnight, the enemy launched another strike on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. As a result, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions experienced short-term power outages. Energy crews began restoration work immediately.

- As of the morning, electricity has been almost fully restored for consumers in Dnipropetrovsk region. Repair work continues to ensure the fastest possible return of electricity and heating.

Electricity Supply Situation Stabilized in Kyiv and Kyiv Region

In the left-bank districts of Kyiv region, including Boryspil and Brovary, emergency outages remain in effect. Other districts are gradually returning to regular outage schedules.

Operational Situation in Ukraine’s Power System as of the Morning of 10 January

During the night, the enemy once again struck the country’s energy infrastructure. As a result, over 130,000 consumers in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were left without electricity.

- In Kyiv and Kyiv oblast, work continues to restore stable electricity supply after the previous enemy attack.

- Over the past 24 hours, power has been restored for more than 350,000 consumers in Kyiv city.

- However, due to the effects of the previous day’s attack, about 10,000 consumers in Kyiv oblast (mainly in Brovary district) remain without electricity.

Roman Andarak: Russians Attacked Energy Workers with a Drone in Kherson Region

On Friday, 9 January, during emergency restoration works, a repair crew of JSC Khersonoblenergo came under attack by an enemy drone. One worker was injured and is receiving all necessary medical assistance. This incident is another example of Russia’s deliberate energy terrorism, said Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Roman Andarak during the telethon “United News”.

Mykola Kolisnyk: All Services Coordinated to Restore Electricity and Heat after Massive Attacks and Severe Weather

All responsible services are operating in a coordinated manner to restore electricity and heat as quickly as possible following another massive attack by Russia. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Mykola Kolisnyk during the telethon “United News”.

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development provides EUR 75 million loan to support modernization of Ukraine’s hydropower sector

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Ukrhydroenergo have signed a financing agreement for the project “Modernization and Restoration of Hydroelectric Power Plant Generation Facilities.”

Under the agreement, financing includes a EUR 75 million loan complemented by EUR 20 million in grant funding to support the restoration and sustainable operation of hydroelectric power plants under martial law. The financing package is backed by guarantees from the European Union.

- During the night, the enemy carried out another massive attack on energy infrastructure facilities. Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions were most affected, with the regions almost completely without power. Energy workers began emergency restoration works during the night.

- As of the morning, approximately 800,000 consumers remain without electricity in Dnipropetrovsk region. Repair works are ongoing to restore electricity and heat as quickly as possible. Social and critical infrastructure facilities have been partially restored.

- As of the morning of 7 January, the situation in Ukraine’s energy system remains challenging due to ongoing Russian strikes, but it is under control. Last night, the enemy attacked energy infrastructure facilities in Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in power outages as of this morning. Emergency restoration works are ongoing.

- Following restoration efforts, electricity supply has been fully restored in the city of Slavutych, which had been affected by an attack the previous day. The city now has power again.
