State-owned distribution system operators continue to expand their network of modern customer service centres as part of the implementation of unified service standards across the Ukrainian Distribution Networks (UDN) Group.

Recently, JSC Ternopiloblenergo and JSC Cherkasyoblenergo opened three additional Customer Service Centres. New service facilities have started operating in Buchach and Chortkiv in the Ternopil region, as well as in Zolotonosha in the Cherkasy region.

- As a result of hostilities and attacks on energy infrastructure, some consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions remain temporarily without electricity supply.

Regions across Ukraine continue active preparations for the upcoming heating season and are expanding distributed gas-fired generation capacities to strengthen energy independence, ensure the operation of critical infrastructure, and support industrial consumers.

According to First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, the total installed capacity of all commissioned distributed generation facilities in Ukraine has reached 1,806.3 MW. The leading regions are Kyiv Region (212.3 MW) and Cherkasy Region (124.6 MW).

First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal held a meeting with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce (ACC), during which the parties discussed preparations for the upcoming winter season, strengthening the resilience of Ukraine’s power system, and priority areas for the development of the energy sector.

- Due to adverse weather conditions, 22 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region remain without electricity. Repair crews are working to restore power supply.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal took part in a meeting of the Council for Entrepreneurship Support.

The Minister outlined the Ministry’s key priorities: preparations for winter (including restoration, protection, and the construction of new distributed generation facilities), the update of Ukraine’s Energy Strategy in cooperation with the World Bank, and the implementation of sectoral reforms.

This week, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal visited an energy facility in Kyiv Region that has repeatedly come under Russian attack.

“Despite the damage, energy workers continue to carry out their duties, restore equipment, and ensure that Ukrainian homes remain supplied with electricity,” Denys Shmyhal noted.

- As a result of hostilities and attacks on energy infrastructure, some consumers in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions remain temporarily without electricity supply.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal, together with the Ministry of Energy team, visited an energy facility in Kyiv Region, where he reviewed the progress of restoration works and held a meeting with the facility’s management and representatives of energy companies.

The Government of the United Kingdom has announced financial support amounting to £210 million, equivalent to more than €242 million, through UK Export Finance (UKEF) to support the stable operation of Ukraine’s nuclear energy sector over the next two years. The agreement was announced by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer as part of arrangements reached with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
