Denys Shmyhal: Emergency Repair and Restoration Crews Will Receive an Additional UAH 20,000 per Month

At the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Government has approved a resolution launching an experimental project to support employees of emergency repair and restoration crews who are currently restoring electricity, heat, and water supply to Ukrainian households and businesses.

This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal.

- The situation in Ukraine’s energy system remains difficult. Repair crews of energy workers and heating utility employees are working continuously to eliminate the consequences of Russia’s ongoing attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure.

- As a result of overnight enemy attacks, consumers in the Odesa, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions are without electricity as of this morning. Emergency repair and restoration works have commenced wherever the security situation allows.
