First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal took part in events marking the 30th anniversary of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations.

"Today, the state, society and every Ukrainian are facing unprecedented challenges. Churches and religious organizations have become key spiritual centres uniting our nation," Denys Shmyhal emphasized.

According to the Minister, throughout these years the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches has spoken to the world with one voice — the voice of Ukraine. Thanks to these efforts, Ukraine has been heard more clearly by influential religious leaders, heads of state and leaders of international organizations.

"I am confident that the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches will also play an important role in achieving a just peace and in Ukraine's recovery. I thank every denomination, every community and every member of the clergy for their faith and unwavering support of the Ukrainian people during these difficult times," the Minister of Energy noted.
