Over the past two months, Lithuania has supplied critical energy equipment to Ukraine through the emergency energy assistance hubs of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, helping Ukrainian energy companies restore infrastructure damaged by Russian attacks.

Thanks to Lithuania's electricity transmission system operator Litgrid, Ukraine has received high-voltage equipment, including disconnectors, circuit breakers, current transformers, surge arresters, insulators and power transformers.

AB Energijos skirstymo operatorius (ESO) supplied power transformers for electricity distribution system operators.

The Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant provided electrical cabinets, switchgear and other industrial equipment, while the Ignitis Gamyba group supplied electric motors.

The Embassy of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania also contributed by providing a backup generator to support a municipal utility in one of Ukraine's regions.

The delivered equipment has already been distributed to energy companies and municipal utilities in the Volyn, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Kirovohrad, Odesa and Cherkasy regions.
