The final of the National Competition of Emergency Dispatch Service Teams marked the culmination of several stages of qualifying rounds, where teams from different regions demonstrated a high level of professional training.

Congratulations to the finalists of the competition:

First place – Team of the Zakarpattia Branch;

Second place – Team of the Dnipropetrovsk Branch;

Third place – Team of the Dnipro Branch;

Fourth place – Team of the Ivano-Frankivsk Branch.

The Congress gathered in Uzhhorod representatives of national and local authorities, as well as Ukraine’s international partners.

As President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted, the participation of European friends in the work of the Congress demonstrates how closely Ukraine’s domestic issues are linked with the country’s relations with the EU. Joint programs—defense, energy, and budgetary resilience—are working successfully. European institutions also interact directly with local communities.

In wartime conditions, renewable energy sources have become an important tool for ensuring the resilience and flexibility of Ukraine’s energy system. This was emphasized by Ukraine’s Minister of Energy Svitlana Grynchuk during a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian communities and international partners, which took place in Uzhhorod as part of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine.

Ukraine seeks to ensure the security, accessibility, and sustainability of its energy system through accelerated modernization and decarbonization of energy infrastructure, as well as integration into European energy markets. This was emphasized by Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Roman Andarak during his speech at the EU Energy Ministers’ meeting held in Copenhagen.

Ukraine and Denmark aim to develop cooperation in the field of renewable energy, continue coordinating efforts to enhance the resilience of Ukraine’s energy system, and support the country’s European integration aspirations. These partnership areas became the key topics of meetings with Danish partners held by Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Energy Roman Andarak during his working visit to Copenhagen.

First Deputy Minister of Energy Artem Nekrasov participated in the forum “Charge and Earn,” which brought together over 300 representatives of the energy sector. The event served as a platform for exchanging experiences, finding practical solutions, and developing a shared vision for the energy storage systems market.

Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Roman Andarak held an online meeting with representatives of Ukraine’s diplomatic missions abroad, during which he briefed participants on the needs of the Ukrainian energy sector in the process of recovery and preparation for the upcoming autumn-winter period. Over one hundred representatives of Ukrainian diplomatic missions joined the meeting.

In response to the statements made by the President of the Russian Federation on 2 September 2025, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine underscores the following: Russia employed heavy military force to attack and occupy a civilian nuclear facility – the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). Through force and terror, it has obstructed Ukraine’s legitimate regulatory and operational control over the plant, which is the sovereign property of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine held a working meeting to plan the development of an electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure network for passenger and commercial electric transport.

The meeting was attended by Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Energy for Digital Development, Digital Transformations, and Digitalization Roman Andarak; Deputy Head of the Board of the Ukrainian Association of Electric Vehicle Market Participants (EV-UA) Vadym Ihnatov; e-mobility expert Maryna Kitina; and specialists from relevant departments of the Ministry of Energy.

Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Grynchuk expressed her hope that the Verkhovna Rada will approve, in the second reading and in full, the draft law on the integration of Ukraine's electricity market into the EU market this September.

She emphasized this during the national telethon “United News.”

The Minister noted that Ukraine’s energy system is already technically synchronized with the European network, while work continues to align the legislative framework with EU standards.
