With the support of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, JSC “Kharkivoblenergo”, part of the Ukrainian Distribution Networks Group, has received four flatbed trucks equipped with crane manipulators purchased through the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.

The vehicles, fitted with cranes capable of lifting 3.5 and 5 tonnes, are designed for transporting transformers, cables, and other energy equipment. They will enhance the company’s ability to perform emergency restoration works, optimize production processes, and reduce the time required to restore power networks.

As part of the working visit of the Ukrainian delegation to Washington, led by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Grynchuk participated in a series of high-level strategic meetings with American partners.

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine continues to expand cooperation with French partners in the fields of distributed generation and nuclear energy, aiming to strengthen the resilience of Ukraine’s energy system amid intensified Russian attacks.

Ukrainian Energy Minister Svitlana Grynchuk held a meeting with UNDP Resident Representative in Ukraine Auke Lootsma, Deputy Resident Representative Christophoros Politis, and Energy and Environment Team Lead Roman Shakhmatenko to discuss the current needs of Ukraine’s energy sector.

A Ukrainian government delegation led by First Deputy Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko is taking part in the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in Washington, D.C. Among the delegation members is Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk.

Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Roman Andarak participated in a seminar dedicated to expanding the capabilities of Ukrainian distribution network operators to build a decentralized energy system. The event was organized by the International Energy Agency (IEA).

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine hosted a meeting of the Working Group on the development of a Draft Action Plan (Roadmap) for the deployment of small modular reactor (SMR) technologies in Ukraine. In addition to experts from the Ministry and industry enterprises, the Working Group includes representatives of central executive authorities, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and other relevant organizations and institutions.

First Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Artem Nekrasov emphasized the strategic role of nuclear energy for Ukraine:

Japan will continue to assist Ukraine in strengthening its energy security amid ongoing Russian attacks on critical infrastructure. Ukrainian Energy Minister Svitlana Grynchuk announced this following a meeting with Masashi Nakagome, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine, and representatives of the JICA Ukraine Office.

Deputy Ministers of Energy of Ukraine Roman Andarak and Olga Yukhymchuk held a meeting with representatives of the Danish Energy Agency and the Embassy of Denmark in Ukraine within the framework of the Ukrainian-Danish Energy Partnership Programme (UDEPP).

The discussions focused on the results achieved under the current phase of cooperation and outlined future areas of joint work. The Danish side presented key outcomes in integrating renewable energy into the power system, advancing training and energy modeling, promoting distributed generation, and improving energy efficiency.

False reports about the start date of the heating season are actively spreading online. The Government Resolution on the Public Service Obligations (PSO) in the gas market, which mentions 1 November 2025, has no relation to the actual commencement of heating in residential buildings.
