Svitlana Grynchuk: Lithuania remains a reliable partner of Ukraine in strengthening energy resilience

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko and Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Grynchuk held a meeting with the Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, Juozas Olekas.

The parties focused on the current situation in Ukraine’s energy system, as well as the need for additional equipment to restore facilities damaged by Russian attacks.

The Speaker reaffirmed that Lithuania will continue to support Ukraine in these areas.

Minister of Energy Svitlana Grynchuk took part in a meeting chaired by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy with Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, all members of the Government, and Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk. Ukraine’s energy companies have successfully completed a large-scale repair campaign at all energy facilities across the country, restoring more than 10 GW of generating capacity and fully forming the planned reserves of fuel and lubricants.

This was announced by Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Mykola Kolisnyk during a briefing attended by Deputy Minister for Communities and Territorial Development Kostyantyn Kovalchuk, Chairman of the Management Board of NPC Ukrenergo Vitaliy Zaychenko, and Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine Serhiy Koretsky.

One of the key topics discussed was energy support for Ukraine amid ongoing Russian attacks. During the meeting, Margus Tsahkna confirmed Estonia’s readiness to participate in rebuilding Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

Ukrainian Energy Minister Svitlana Grynchuk spoke about the current situation in Ukraine’s energy system during a live broadcast of the “United News” national telethon.

“Energy workers continue to repair equipment to stabilize the situation in the energy system. Constant enemy shelling significantly complicates these efforts,” emphasized the Minister of Energy of Ukraine.

Diversification of Gas Supply Routes at Competitive Rates – Mykola Kolisnyk

Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Mykola Kolisnyk took part in the Ministerial Meeting of the Central and South-Eastern European Energy Connectivity (CESEC) Group, held in Bucharest.

The participants reviewed the achievements of ten years of cooperation under the CESEC initiative and outlined priority projects for further regional energy collaboration.

One of the key outcomes of the meeting was an agreement to introduce a discounted tariff for Route 1 of the Trans-Balkan Corridor, which will ensure cost-effective LNG supplies to Ukraine.
