More than 6,000 participants from 33 countries are taking part in the event, which brings together representatives of governments, international organizations, investors, businesses, and technology companies to shape a shared vision for Ukraine’s energy future.
The conference was opened by Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister of Energy Roman Andarak, and First Deputy Minister for Communities and Territorial Development Alona Shkrum.
During the opening session, European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos expressed strong support for Ukraine’s European integration path. She emphasized that the presence of hundreds of representatives of European companies demonstrates growing interest in investing in Ukraine’s recovery and development.
On the sidelines of the event, representatives of the Ministry of Energy held a series of bilateral meetings with international partners.
Deputy Ministers of Energy of Ukraine met with Joost Klarenbeek, the Netherlands’ Special Envoy for Ukraine, to discuss Dutch initiatives aimed at supporting reconstruction, assisting with natural gas imports, and providing equipment to strengthen Ukraine’s energy resilience during the winter period.
Support for Ukraine’s energy sector was also the main topic of discussion at the meeting between the Ministry’s representatives and Pierre Elbron, the French President's Special Envoy for Aid and Recovery in Ukraine.
At a separate meeting with NVIDIA CEO Roman Sioda and representatives of Deloitte, Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk discussed opportunities for cooperation in the areas of data security and energy security.
The conference “Energy of Renewal: The Path to a Strong Energy Sector in Ukraine” is an integral part of the ReBuild Ukraine exhibition, held with the support of the Ministry of Energy, and takes place in Warsaw on 13–14 November.
