Ukrainian Specialists Once Again Restore Power Lines Supplying Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant

At this moment, repair works are underway to restore electricity supply lines serving the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP).

This marks the 42nd instance since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion that Ukrainian energy specialists have had to restore the lines powering the plant.

The connection of ZNPP to Ukraine’s national power grid and the stable operation of the plant ensured by Ukrainian professionals are critical prerequisites for preventing any incidents or accidents at Europe’s largest nuclear facility.

Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Grynchuk participated in a high-level meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of the United States Donald Trump in Washington, D.C. She was joined by Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, and Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Olga Stefanishyna.

Ukraine and Slovakia Strengthen Cooperation to Enhance Energy Security and Sustainability

Ukraine and the Slovak Republic have reaffirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation aimed at bolstering energy security and sustainability.

The agreement was outlined in the Roadmap for Joint Actions of the Governments of Ukraine and the Slovak Republic, adopted during the third round of intergovernmental consultations held in Košice, Slovakia. The Ukrainian delegation was led by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, with the Ministry of Energy represented by Deputy Minister Roman Andarak.

Kharkivoblenergo Receives Four Crane Trucks for Emergency Repair Operations

With the support of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, JSC “Kharkivoblenergo”, part of the Ukrainian Distribution Networks Group, has received four flatbed trucks equipped with crane manipulators purchased through the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.

The vehicles, fitted with cranes capable of lifting 3.5 and 5 tonnes, are designed for transporting transformers, cables, and other energy equipment. They will enhance the company’s ability to perform emergency restoration works, optimize production processes, and reduce the time required to restore power networks.

Mykola Kolisnyk Joins Ukrainian Government Delegation to the U.S.: Focus on Energy and International Support

A Ukrainian government delegation led by First Deputy Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko is taking part in the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in Washington, D.C. Among the delegation members is Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk.
