- As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy infrastructure facilities, some consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Sumy, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions remain temporarily without electricity supply.

- The most challenging situation is observed in the Chernihiv and Odesa regions. Due to several consecutive enemy attacks, energy equipment has sustained significant damage, leaving a considerable number of consumers without power.

Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Valentyna Moskalenko took part in the 16th Steering Committee meeting of the Ukraine Donor Platform.

During the meeting, government representatives presented to partners the key priorities in strengthening resilience and recovery, particularly in the energy sector.

Ukraine expects substantial support from international partners and donors to cover the needs related to the implementation of comprehensive regional energy resilience plans, with a total estimated value of €5.4 billion.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, within the framework of the CERAWeek forum in Houston (United States), discussed with international partners the strategy for the development of modern energy systems and the recovery of Ukraine’s energy sector.

During its work in the United States, the Ukrainian delegation reached a number of important agreements with American companies regarding energy projects in Ukraine. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, who is leading the delegation.

The world in which Europe’s modern energy architecture was formed no longer exists. Today, energy systems must be assessed based on resilience, speed of recovery, and the ability to operate under prolonged shocks.

This was emphasized by First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during the “European Forum” at the international energy conference CERAWeek in Houston, USA.

The Minister noted that Ukraine was forced to face these challenges earlier than most countries and outlined key conclusions for partners:

- As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy infrastructure, some consumers in Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions remain temporarily without electricity supply.

- Power engineers are working in an intensified mode to restore electricity supply to all consumers as soon as possible.

- Following an attack on a Khmelnytskyioblenergo energy facility, one of the company’s employees was injured and is receiving all necessary medical assistance.

First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, during a working visit to the United States, held a meeting with U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright. The parties discussed the situation in Ukraine’s energy system, which has been damaged by Russian attacks, as well as recovery priorities.

Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Hanna Lihun held a meeting with the representative of the Italian Republic, Davide La Cecilia, during which the parties discussed the situation in Ukraine’s energy sector amid ongoing Russian attacks, the needs for restoring damaged infrastructure, and preparations for the next heating season.

- Overnight, the enemy carried out another combined large-scale attack on energy infrastructure in several regions. As a result, some consumers in Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions are temporarily without electricity supply.

- Power engineers are working in an intensified mode to restore electricity supply to all consumers as soon as possible.

Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Hanna Lihun held a meeting with the Special Envoy of the President of the French Republic for Ukraine’s Relief and Reconstruction, Muriel Lacoue-Labarthe.

During the meeting, the Ukrainian side briefed French partners on the situation in the energy sector following the most challenging winter of the full-scale war and outlined key priorities for preparation for the next heating season.
