This week, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal visited an energy facility in Kyiv Region that has repeatedly come under Russian attack.

“Despite the damage, energy workers continue to carry out their duties, restore equipment, and ensure that Ukrainian homes remain supplied with electricity,” Denys Shmyhal noted.

Sviatoslav Vakarchuk also visited the facility to express his support for energy sector employees. As a gesture of appreciation for their dedication and hard work, he performed several of his songs for the workforce.

“I am grateful to Sviatoslav Vakarchuk for his visit and for supporting our energy workers. I would like to thank every employee in the sector for their professionalism and resilience. Light will prevail,” Denys Shmyhal added.
