This was stated by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, German Galushchenko, during a meeting with representatives of EU member states at the IAEA in Vienna, Austria, where the regular session of the IAEA Board of Governors is taking place.

The parties discussed the situation in Ukraine’s energy system in light of ongoing russian attacks and possible avenues of assistance.

"We have endured another wartime winter. Despite russia’s targeted attacks, which have been ongoing for more than three years, Ukraine’s energy system remains intact and continues to meet consumer needs," noted German Galushchenko.

Rotation of IAEA Experts at ZNPP Should Take Place in Accordance with International Law and Exclusively with Ukraine’s Approval

The rotation of the expert mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant cannot take place without the approval of the Ukrainian authorities and in violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It contradicts international law and Ukraine’s national legislation.

This is stated in an official letter from the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, German Galushchenko, to the Director General of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi.

Strengthening Energy Security: The European Commission Will Help Create Gas Reserves for Reliable Supply to Ukraine and the Region

The European Commission will assist Ukraine in financing gas purchases, including through the Ukraine Facility in cooperation with implementing partners. This will increase gas reserves to ensure supply security, benefiting both Ukraine and the entire region.

This is one of the key points of the new support package for Ukraine, aimed at strengthening the country's energy system and ensuring its full integration into the European energy market. The package was presented by the European Commission leadership on February 24 in Kyiv.

The Ministry of Energy has informed the IAEA about all the circumstances of russia’s overnight attack on the New Safe Confinement of Chornobyl NPP Unit 4 and urged the international community to intensify efforts to force russia to stop terrorist attacks on nuclear facilities.

As a result of a russian strike drone hitting the New Safe Confinement, significant damage has been inflicted. All respective services are working at the scene. At present, radiation levels have not changed, and radiation monitoring is being conducted continuously.
