On the sidelines of the EU Energy Ministers’ meeting in Warsaw, Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko held a bilateral meeting with Marc Ferracci, Minister of Industry and Energy of the French Republic.
The parties discussed avenues of cooperation aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s energy resilience and enhancing energy security.

The meeting took place in Warsaw during the meeting of EU energy ministers dedicated to the restoration of Ukraine’s energy system and the European integration of Ukraine and the EU.

As part of the meeting of EU energy ministers in Warsaw, Ukraine’s Minister of Energy, German Galushchenko, took part in the working session "Rebuilding Ukraine’s Energy Infrastructure and Preparing for Winter in Ukraine and Moldova."
The Minister informed the participants about the devastating consequences of ongoing russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy sector, as well as the key directions for restoring facilities and maintaining energy stability and security.
The Ukraine Energy Support Fund was established in April 2022 as a joint initiative of the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, German Galushchenko, and the European Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson. Over the course of its operation, it has become an effective tool for providing international assistance in the energy sector.
Deepening cooperation between Ukraine and the United States of America in the field of energy is an important area of bilateral relations, which will also contribute to strengthening the energy security of the European continent.
This was emphasized by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko during a discussion on the role of the United States in the Ukrainian energy sector, organized by the Atlantic Council.
