How Can the Public Help Energy Workers During Regular Attacks on Energy Infrastructure?

  1. Everyone can contribute to the stability of the energy system:
  2. Use electricity efficiently, especially during peak hours in the morning and evening.
  3. Smart and conscious consumption by each individual is the best support for energy workers.
  4. Avoid running several high-power appliances at the same time.
  5. Turn off lights in empty rooms and offices.
  6. When possible, shift energy-intensive processes (laundry, water heating, dishwasher operation) to night hours after 10:00 PM, when the load on the system is lowest.
  7. Replace incandescent bulbs with energy-saving lamps — even small changes, when multiplied across the country, have a significant effect.

If each consumer makes even minor efforts to use electricity efficiently, this will significantly reduce the likelihood of emergency restrictions and make Ukraine’s energy system more resilient.
