- Everyone can contribute to the stability of the energy system:
- Use electricity efficiently, especially during peak hours in the morning and evening.
- Smart and conscious consumption by each individual is the best support for energy workers.
- Avoid running several high-power appliances at the same time.
- Turn off lights in empty rooms and offices.
- When possible, shift energy-intensive processes (laundry, water heating, dishwasher operation) to night hours after 10:00 PM, when the load on the system is lowest.
- Replace incandescent bulbs with energy-saving lamps — even small changes, when multiplied across the country, have a significant effect.
If each consumer makes even minor efforts to use electricity efficiently, this will significantly reduce the likelihood of emergency restrictions and make Ukraine’s energy system more resilient.
