A new modern customer service center of JSC Cherkasyoblenergo has been opened in Cherkasy in accordance with the corporate standards of JSC Ukrainian Distribution Networks.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, the Mayor of Cherkasy, Anatoliy Bondarenko, and the Acting CEO of JSC Cherkasyoblenergo, Vadym Yanenko.

The new center was established to provide consumers with the advantages of modern energy services and to ensure convenient access to the company’s latest solutions. Its concept is based on international best practices and is designed to streamline customer interaction with the company.

The customer service center operates on a “single window” principle, bringing together all service departments that directly interact with customers in one location. This approach helps optimize customer time and enhances service efficiency.

Located in the central part of Cherkasy, the center is easily accessible by public transport and features a modern design. The spacious, bright premises are equipped with an electronic queue system, meeting rooms, and payment terminals.

An important achievement of the project was the creation of 15 additional jobs. To ensure accessibility, the facility is equipped with parking spaces for people with disabilities, an elevator, and navigation signs, including those in Braille.

During the test operation of the Customer Service Center, more than 4,500 applications were processed and over 5,000 consultations provided through the “ASTOR 8 SERVICES” system. The most in-demand services included change of ownership, connection to the power grid, project approvals, technical inspection of metering devices, and parameterization of electricity meters.

For reference:
In 2024, JSC Ukrainian Distribution Networks launched a program to introduce unified service standards across state-owned distribution system operators. The first milestone was the establishment of a customer service center at PJSC Ternopiloblenergo. The opening of the center at JSC Cherkasyoblenergo marks the next step in implementing this program.
