The list of critical infrastructure sectors, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution dated October 9, 2020 № 1109 (as amended by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution dated January 16, 2024 № 48).
The critical energy infrastructure includes facilities that provide the following services:
Electric Power Industry:
• electricity generation
• ensuring the functioning of the electricity market, organization of electricity purchase and sale on the market
• management of transmission and energy supply systems
• electricity distribution
Oil Industry:
• oil extraction
• transmission (transit) of oil and petroleum products
• refining, processing, and treatment of oil
• operation of oil pipelines
• storage and supply of oil and petroleum products
Gas Industry:
• gas extraction
• gas processing and purification
• gas transmission (transit)
• gas distribution
• operation of the gas transportation system
