With the approval of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, Serhii Suiarko, dated 7 December 2022, a “Trust Box” has been operating within the Ministry of Energy as one of the instruments for implementing a gender-sensitive approach in the work of civil servants of the Ministry’s central office.

The operation of the “Trust Box” is carried out exclusively on a confidential basis and under conditions of complete anonymity. This mechanism enables the Ministry to receive first-hand information regarding the possible existence of signs or manifestations of discrimination based on gender, age, religious beliefs, or other characteristics. It also serves as an important indicator of the overall workplace environment, contributes to the prevention of conflict situations and mitigation of their consequences, and promotes the improvement of social dialogue.

Information submissions and proposals received through the “Trust Box” are processed by the Department of Labour, Social Policy and Gender Equality in accordance with the principle of integrity.

“Trust Boxes” are located on the ground floors of the Ministry of Energy’s administrative buildings at the following addresses:
