Deputy Ministers of Energy of Ukraine Valentyna Moskalenko and Hanna Lihun held a meeting with representatives of the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Ukraine), during which they discussed deepening cooperation in the energy sector and expanding the participation of German businesses in the recovery of Ukraine’s energy sector.
The parties focused on practical areas of cooperation, including the implementation of projects for the restoration and modernization of energy infrastructure, the development of distributed generation, and strengthening the resilience of the energy system at the community and regional levels.
Participants discussed the needs of Ukraine’s energy sector in equipment and technologies required for the rapid restoration of damaged facilities, as well as enhancing the autonomy of energy infrastructure under wartime risks.
They also addressed cooperation in attracting investment and developing joint projects between Ukrainian companies and German businesses, noting a shared interest in expanding partnerships and advancing practical project implementation.
Particular attention was given to the development of modern technological solutions in energy and heating, including improving energy efficiency and organizing joint training programs for Ukrainian specialists.
The German side confirmed its interest in deepening cooperation with Ukraine in the energy sector, particularly in implementing investment projects, supplying equipment, and developing partnerships with Ukrainian companies.
