By the end of this year, the Japanese partners plan to provide additional equipment, including a manipulator tractor and five car towers.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the energy sector, Kharkiv Oblast has lost more than 200 units of motor vehicles. The aid provided will help to replace special equipment destroyed and damaged during hostilities, as well as to ensure the implementation of operational repairs at electricity generation and transmission facilities.
Japan's government agency JICA, as part of bilateral cooperation with the Ukrainian government, systematically supports the Ukrainian energy sector by supplying auxiliary equipment for the restoration of energy facilities damaged by russian attacks, increasing the stability of the energy system and increasing the capacity of distributed generation.
