During its work in the United States, the Ukrainian delegation reached a number of important agreements with American companies regarding energy projects in Ukraine. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, who is leading the delegation.
In particular, the following documents were signed:
— The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine concluded a Production Sharing Agreement with Aspect Holdings. The agreement will contribute to attracting investment into the development of Ukraine’s hydrocarbon production and strengthening the country’s energy security.
— Naftogaz of Ukraine signed a Memorandum with Solar Turbines, a leading international producer of energy equipment. Potential areas of cooperation include localization of equipment servicing and maintenance, training of Ukrainian specialists, and other initiatives aimed at enhancing the energy resilience and independence of Naftogaz Group facilities.
— A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Naftogaz of Ukraine and Baker Hughes. The implementation of this agreement will improve the energy efficiency and reliability of gas turbines and compressor units, increase productivity, and optimize production.
— A Memorandum between Naftogaz of Ukraine and the American Petroleum Institute provides for cooperation and exchange of information on applicable standards, certifications, technologies, and best industry practices in the oil and gas sector, including the participation of Group experts in the development of API standards.
“ We are grateful to our partners for their trust and support. Together, we will build in Ukraine a new energy architecture that is resilient to challenges and threats,” Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
