Ukrainian Energy Minister Svitlana Grynchuk held a meeting with Pantelis Alexandros Dimitrakopoulos, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to Ukraine.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of Ukraine's energy system following recent large-scale Russian attacks, as well as the country’s urgent needs related to rapid repair work and maintaining adequate reserves of critical equipment.

Another key topic was the accumulation of sufficient natural gas reserves. The officials considered opportunities for expanding gas supply routes to Ukraine and other European countries.

They also addressed the potential for strengthening cooperation between Ukrainian and Greek energy companies. According to the Ambassador, the Greek energy sector is highly interested in developing partnerships with Ukraine. Both sides agreed to foster this dialogue further, including through existing platforms such as the ReBuild Ukraine Construction & Energy International Exhibition in Warsaw and the upcoming P-TEC Forum in Athens.

“I would like to thank Mr. Pantelis Alexandros Dimitrakopoulos for the meaningful dialogue and his readiness for productive cooperation. There are many details ahead that we will need to work through together. However, I am confident that we will achieve significant results in deepening our partnership for the sake of Ukraine’s energy resilience,” emphasized Svitlana Grynchuk.
