Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Grynchuk held a meeting with Chairman of the Supervisory Board Yarek Neverovich, Acting Chairman of the Management Board of SE NNEGC “Energoatom” Pavlo Kovtonyuk, and former Head of the Company Petro Kotin.
On 21 August, the Supervisory Board of SE NNEGC “Energoatom” accepted the resignation of Acting Chairman of the Management Board Petro Kotin and appointed Pavlo Kovtonyuk, Director General of Rivne NPP, as Acting Chairman of the Management Board of Energoatom for the period of the competitive selection of a permanent head of the company.
The Minister expressed confidence that Pavlo Kovtoniuk’s extensive professional experience, particularly his leadership at Rivne NPP, will enable him to perform his duties effectively until the appointment of a permanent head of the company.
The Minister also acknowledged the contribution of the former head of Energoatom to the company’s development.
“The Ministry of Energy team is grateful to Petro Kotin for his many years of dedicated service and for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Ukraine’s nuclear power plants during the most challenging period,” emphasized Svitlana Grynchuk.
