Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko and Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Grynchuk held a meeting with the Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, Juozas Olekas.
The parties focused on the current situation in Ukraine’s energy system, as well as the need for additional equipment to restore facilities damaged by Russian attacks.
The Speaker reaffirmed that Lithuania will continue to support Ukraine in these areas.
The meeting also addressed the development of renewable energy. The Lithuanian side has already allocated €5 million for the implementation of relevant projects. In addition, Lithuanian energy companies remain among the most active partners of Ukraine in rebuilding and modernizing our energy sector.
