Ukrainian Minister of Energy Svitlana Grynchuk participated in a meeting between Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko and German Federal Minister for Energy Katerina Reiche.
During the meeting, the parties discussed further areas of cooperation in the energy sector and additional steps to enhance the stability and resilience of Ukraine’s energy system. Germany announced that it will increase its contribution to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund by an additional EUR 60 million.
Special attention was given to the ongoing dialogue on establishing a joint Ukrainian-German working group on energy, as well as preparations for the Ukrainian-German Business Forum, scheduled to take place in Berlin in December. The forum is expected to serve as a platform for developing new partnerships between energy companies from both countries.
“Our shared priority remains unchanged — strengthening Ukraine’s energy system and accelerating the delivery of energy equipment. We continue our dialogue on the establishment of a joint working group on energy,” the Minister emphasized.
Svitlana Grynchuk expressed her gratitude to the German partners for their consistent support of Ukraine and their active role in strengthening the energy security of both Ukraine and Europe as a whole.
