Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Grynchuk, together with Deputy Minister Mykola Kolisnyk and CEO of Naftogaz of Ukraine Serhiy Koretsky, took part in an event dedicated to Supplier Day.

This year’s event brought together more than 340 representatives of companies and enterprises cooperating with Naftogaz to support the stability of Ukraine’s energy system.

In her remarks, the Minister emphasized the crucial role of suppliers in safeguarding the country’s energy security, especially under wartime conditions.

“The enemy continues to strike gas infrastructure, attempting to disable production facilities, compressor stations, and storage sites. At the same time, suppliers are an essential part of the system, enabling Naftogaz to rapidly restore damaged facilities, maintain uninterrupted equipment delivery, and ensure stable heat supply for millions of Ukrainians,” said Svitlana Grynchuk.

The Minister stressed that collaboration with supplier companies is strategically important not only for national energy security but also for the sustainable development of communities across the country.

She expressed gratitude to contractors and suppliers who continue their work despite military risks and operational challenges, helping maintain continuity of critical infrastructure. Ms. Grynchuk also acknowledged the systematic efforts of the Naftogaz Group to ensure transparency and efficiency in procurement processes.

“The stability of the energy sector depends first and foremost on people and strong partnerships,” the Minister concluded.
