Under the coordination of the Ministry of Energy, five new power transformers have been delivered to Sumy region. The equipment, worth more than EUR 300,000, was purchased using Australia’s contributions to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.

Sumy region is one of Ukraine’s frontline regions bordering Russia, and its energy infrastructure comes under enemy attack every day. The new transformers will help speed up efforts to address the consequences of attacks on energy facilities in the region and restore reliable electricity supply to consumers.

We thank Australia for its contributions to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund and its support for Ukraine’s energy sector!
