A Regular Meeting of the Headquarters for Emergency Response in Kyiv and the Region Took Place

05 February 2026, 21:15

Regarding electricity supply. The most challenging area in Kyiv remains the district supplied by CHPP-4. As reported by the city authorities, restoration of heat supply in that district is not expected in the near future. Therefore, energy companies are working to provide improved electricity supply schedules. In total, 64 repair crews were involved in restoring electricity in the city today.

Regarding distributed generation. Work on the installation and commissioning of cogeneration gas units is proceeding strictly according to schedule. Units with capacities of 9 MW and 18 MW are expected to be launched in the near future. Alongside commissioning, ensuring the physical protection of these facilities remains a critical task.

Additional support. This week, 596 tons of humanitarian aid will be delivered to Ukraine through the Emergency Energy Assistance Hub. The shipment includes transformers, insulators, generators, and other critical equipment, which will be distributed to energy companies, local authorities, and critical infrastructure facilities across the country.
