Operational update on Ukraine’s power system as of the morning of 25 March

25 March 2026, 10:10

- As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy infrastructure, some consumers in Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions remain temporarily without electricity supply.

- Power engineers are working in an intensified mode to restore electricity supply to all consumers as soon as possible.

- Following an attack on a Khmelnytskyioblenergo energy facility, one of the company’s employees was injured and is receiving all necessary medical assistance.

- The most difficult situation is currently observed in Chernihiv region, where consecutive enemy attacks have damaged energy equipment, necessitating the introduction of hourly outage schedules. Restrictions will be lifted immediately after the situation in the power system stabilizes.

- Consumers are requested, where possible, to use electricity sparingly during peak hours in the morning and evening. This helps reduce the load on the system.
