- Overnight and in the morning, Russia launched another massive attack. As a result of hostilities and strikes on energy infrastructure, some consumers in the city of Kyiv, Kyiv, Donetsk, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions are temporarily without electricity. Emergency restoration works are already underway wherever security conditions allow. Energy workers are making every effort to restore power to all affected consumers as quickly as possible.
- During the air raid, a high-voltage transmission line supplying the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant was also disconnected. As a result, for the 15th time since the beginning of this year, the ZNPP switched to diesel generator power. The line will be inspected to identify the likely location of the damage as soon as security conditions allow.
- No power supply restrictions are expected today. Any updates regarding electricity supply are available through the official resources of the respective distribution system operators.
- Consumers are advised to shift higher electricity consumption to daytime hours, from 10:00 to 16:00.
