Through the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, 20 capacitive voltage transformers worth EUR 486,000 have been delivered from Germany for use in four regions of Ukraine.
The equipment will replace transformers damaged as a result of Russia's large-scale attacks. Its installation will strengthen the resilience of Ukraine's unified power system and ensure a more reliable electricity supply for consumers.
Capacitive voltage transformers are key components of high-voltage substations. They reduce high system voltage to the level required for measurement, protection, and control of power facilities, while ensuring accurate monitoring of system parameters and supporting the automated operation of the electricity network.
Germany remains one of Ukraine's largest partners in strengthening the resilience of the energy sector, supporting the restoration of critical infrastructure and helping ensure the reliable operation of Ukraine's power system.
