By Order of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine No. 283 dated 5 June 2026, a new edition of the Electrical Installation Code (PUE:2026) has been approved and entered into force. The document establishes requirements for electrical installations during their design, construction, reconstruction, technical upgrading, major overhaul, and operation.

The new edition of PUE:2026 was developed to update the requirements for electrical installations, align them with the legislation of Ukraine, and harmonise them with European standards.

Preparations are currently underway for the publication of a printed edition of PUE:2026. According to publishing houses that have confirmed their ability to prepare and print the document, the printed version is expected to become available in late August or early September 2026.
