On behalf of Minister of Energy Svitlana Grynchuk, Deputy Minister Mykola Kolisnyk is coordinating restoration efforts in the Poltava region together with Deputy Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Kostiantyn Kovalchuk, Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Volodymyr Kohut, and other relevant services.
“Active repair works at energy facilities in Poltava region are underway,” noted Mykola Kolisnyk.
The Deputy Minister, together with representatives of other government agencies and enterprises of the fuel and energy complex, held an operational coordination meeting on eliminating the consequences of the Russian attack in the region, where the situation remains one of the most difficult in the country.
Mykola Kolisnyk emphasized that due to ongoing Russian attacks, the situation in Ukraine’s energy system remains challenging. Rescue workers, gas and power engineers are making maximum efforts to restore the operation of the damaged facilities as quickly as possible.
