Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has received 4,593 pieces of energy equipment, including generators, transformers, modular boiler houses, cogeneration units, boilers, and other essential equipment.

This assistance has been provided by partners from the European Union, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, the United States, UNICEF/WASH, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), PFRU, Volvo, and China.

Ukraine is also expecting the delivery of 917 additional generators, 166 transformers, and 123 other pieces of equipment, including boilers, modular boiler houses, and cogeneration units.

Since the beginning of the year, 528 humanitarian cargo shipments with a total weight of more than 5,000 tonnes have been dispatched from the Ministry of Energy’s emergency energy assistance hubs to the regions. These shipments included 2,603 generators, 121 transformers, and 190 modular boiler houses, cogeneration units, and boilers.

Overall, since March 2022, and with the coordination of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, the country has received 2,528 humanitarian shipments of energy equipment with a total weight of 32,100 tonnes, of which 28,400 tonnes have already been distributed to the regions.

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, humanitarian energy assistance has been provided by 39 countries: Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, the Republic of Korea, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
