The energy situation remains challenging. Extreme cold is driving increased consumption, creating additional stress on the system. The threat of further Russian attacks remains, so readiness for new challenges is essential.
Development of distributed gas generation in the regions continues. 25.8 MW of additional capacity has been launched in Kyiv and the region this year. Start-up operations are in the final stage at several other facilities.
Today, the Ministry’s hubs received generators from Austria and Lithuania. Generators from Norway, gas equipment from the Netherlands, and additional contributions to the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine from Sweden, the European Commission, Denmark, and Germany are also expected. The Ministry thanks its partners for support and its energy workers for their resilience.
