Over the past several weeks, 17.67 tonnes of energy equipment have been delivered from the warehouses of the Ministry of Energy’s hubs to critical infrastructure enterprises with the support of Lithuania. Transformers, electric motors, diesel and petrol generators, as well as insulators, have been delivered to the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and Mykolaiv regions.
The equipment will help replace components damaged by Russian attacks, provide backup power supply, and accelerate restoration works.
We thank Lithuanian companies Litgrid AB, Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant, ESO and Amber Grid, as well as the Embassy of Ukraine in Lithuania, for their support for Ukraine’s energy sector. Special thanks go to the EU Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM), Ukrzaliznytsia and UZ Cargo Poland for their logistical support in delivering this assistance.
