With the support of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and funding from the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, JSC Kharkivoblenergo has received new specialized vehicles for emergency power grid restoration. Two multifunctional vehicles have already been delivered to the company, while a total of 14 such vehicles will be supplied to the Kharkiv region.

The new IVECO all-wheel-drive trucks are equipped with crane-manipulators, hydraulic drilling units, and specialized trailers for transporting oversized cargo. They enable the transportation of transformers, cable products, power poles, and other energy equipment, while also allowing crews to drill foundations and install poles without the need for additional machinery.

Thanks to this modern equipment, a single vehicle can perform the entire cycle of restoration works: deliver the necessary materials, drill the foundation, install the pole, and mount the equipment. This significantly reduces emergency response time, improves the efficiency of repair crews, and enables faster restoration of electricity supply.

The new specialized vehicles will operate in the district divisions of JSC Kharkivoblenergo, helping strengthen the reliability of Kharkiv region's electricity distribution network, which remains under constant threat from Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
