Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Grynchuk took part in a meeting of Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko with ambassadors of NATO partner countries — Canada, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, the United States, and the United Kingdom — who paid their first joint visit to Ukraine.

Svitlana Grynchuk emphasized that a coordinated joint response with partners to Russia’s attacks is crucial to protecting Ukraine’s energy system.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of Ukraine’s energy system, key areas of cooperation and mechanisms of support, as well as measures to strengthen the protection of energy infrastructure.

“I am grateful to our partners for their tremendous assistance in helping Ukraine get through the heating season under wartime conditions, including the supply of vital equipment for restoration after attacks,” noted Svitlana Grynchuk.

The meeting was attended by representatives of allied countries that have made significant contributions to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund and continue to provide assistance through financial instruments of UNDP, JICA, and other international organizations.

Svitlana Grynchuk stressed that thanks to partner support, Ukraine can swiftly stabilize its energy system following severe combined attacks by the aggressor.
