The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iceland has made an additional contribution of EUR 550,000 to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, bringing Iceland’s total contribution to almost EUR 9 million.
These funds will be used to procure critical energy equipment needed to prepare Ukraine’s energy system for the upcoming autumn-winter period.
Since its establishment, the Ukraine Energy Support Fund has received more than EUR 2 billion in grant funding from 39 donors representing 26 partner countries and three international organizations.
We thank Iceland and all our partners for their continued support of Ukraine’s energy sector.
