The year 2025 became a year of kilometres of restored power lines, dozens of sleepless nights when emergency crews were dispatched to damaged facilities, and thousands of moments when hearts stood still as missiles targeted gas production sites, substations, thermal power plants and hydropower facilities—along with megawatts of distributed generation brought online.
The past year was marked by painful losses and superhuman efforts. We bow our heads in deep respect and pay tribute to those who remained forever in 2025.
Yet we have light—because the 50 Hz of goodness, unity, professionalism and mutual support are indestructible.
We stood firm because the civilised world stood with us, and our path was illuminated by faith in the triumph of good and justice.
The year 2026 lies ahead. And we have not lost hope. Today we are confident, experienced, resilient—and undoubtedly stronger than we were in February 2022.
We never tire of expressing our gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to energy workers, and to all who support and understand us despite the hardships.
May the coming year bring goodness and prosperity, love and harmony to every home. May the cherished dream of all Ukrainians come true—peace will prevail on our land, and the word “blackout” will remain a disgrace on the pages of the aggressors’ history.
Together, we will prevail!
