The Government of Ukraine has appointed First Deputy Minister of Energy Artem Nekrasov to temporarily perform the duties of the Minister of Energy. The corresponding decision was approved at today’s Cabinet meeting.
"I am fully aware of the immense responsibility I carry before the country and the sector. We have entered the active phase of the most challenging heating season in Ukraine’s history. Therefore, our immediate priorities include ensuring the stable operation of the energy system, maintaining transparency of all processes, restoring trust, strengthening effective cooperation with international partners, and mobilizing resources for the repair and restoration of damaged energy facilities. I will make every effort to address these tasks while the Government and the Verkhovna Rada consider the candidacy of a new Minister," stated Artem Nekrasov.
