Government Allocates UAH 246.4 Million to Support Emergency Repair Crews

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated UAH 246.4 million to support emergency repair crews who restored Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in January of this year.

As reported by First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal, the funds will be used to provide additional payments of UAH 20,000 to those who are restoring electricity, heating, and water supply to Ukrainian households. The payments will be transferred to the active bank accounts of the crew members.

It should be recalled that the initiative involves all enterprises of the fuel and energy sector, housing and utilities services, as well as Ukrzaliznytsia.

The lists of eligible recipients are compiled by the enterprises themselves and submitted via the Diia digital platform.
