The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a decision to allocate UAH 263.5 million from the reserve fund of the State Budget to provide state assistance to employees engaged in emergency restoration works following the massive missile attacks carried out by the russian federation in January–March 2026.

More than 13,000 members of repair and restoration crews will receive assistance. In particular, the allocated UAH 263.5 million includes nearly UAH 243 million in additional payments for repair crews for March 2026, as well as more than UAH 20 million in supplementary payments for January–February for employees whose companies, for various reasons, were unable to submit applications for assistance in previous months.

The funds will be directed to the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine to provide assistance to employees of enterprises in the fuel and energy sector, housing and communal services sector, and public railway transport.

According to First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, more than 9,600 energy workers will receive additional payments for restoring critical infrastructure damaged by russian attacks. The Government allocated more than UAH 192 million for this purpose.

“Additional payments of UAH 20,000 will be provided to members of repair crews, team leaders, engineers, and other specialists who worked under difficult conditions to ensure the rapid restoration of critical infrastructure. Earlier, the Government had already allocated UAH 527.7 million for additional payments to repair crews for January and February. We are grateful to all repair crews who every day restore electricity to Ukrainian homes,” Denys Shmyhal stated.
